Wind farms are pathetic and weak

98% of people don’t reach their full potential

You have the power of a nuclear plant inside of you.

Not literally. Stop being ridiculous.

I’m talking about all of your pent up potential.

Abraham Maslow, one of the most OG psychologists of the 1900s estimated that only 2% of people actualize their full potential.

So, what’s holding you back?

Is it your circumstances? Is it the hand you’ve been dealt in life? Is it the man keeping you down?

Negative, ghostrider.

It’s your beliefs and traits.

All that other stuff is hard to overcome; I’m not trying to downgrade how hard life is. And, I know a thing or two about getting dealt a bad hand. I grew up in abject poverty where most people OD on meth or fentanyl and never leave the trailer park. But I did get out. So, trust me when I say that your mind is either the way out or the way deeper into the mire.

Beliefs

You have to believe that you have the power inside of you to change.

On a day-to-day basis, this looks like:

  • Positive self talk (“I am the kind of person that does X, Y, Z”)

  • Pushing your boundaries, getting uncomfortable, and doing the stuff you know you have to do. Even if you are the first one in your family or circle to ever do it.

  • Mentally visualizing the future you want. Create a freaking vision board. Even if it’s in your head because you’re too embarrassed for people to see your 100%-realized potential self.

Traits

You have to fully embrace optimism and resilience.

If you believe in your ability to make things better and can weather the hard times, you are on your way to achieving the optimal version of yourself.

There will be local maxima and minima, but never stop pushing for a global maxima. See what you are capable of.

Life will always hit you hard; be ready. Build the mindset and skills to the point that if you lost everything tomorrow, you can build it again, consistently.

So, don’t be a wind farm.

Be the futuristic, clean, and powerful nuclear powerhouse you were meant to be.
