Results from my giveaway

Hey, y’all!

Well, we did it!

First giveaway in the bag. That’s what I’m talking about.

It didn’t shatter any X records but was super successful!

By the numbers:

• 3,780 impressions

• 33 likes

• 21 auto-dms sent

• 12 retweets

• 4 new email subscribers

Amazing.

And I appreciate each of y’all that supported! If you are one of the new 4, welcome!! It’s awesome to have you.

These may not seem like big numbers but if the guide helps even 1 person, it was worth it.

Not to mention the experience of just going through all of the motions of a giveaway: the packaging, content generation, landing page creation, automations, email capture, and social media marketing. It was better than any MBA class I ever took.

But, there were a few learnings.

There are a few things I will do differently next time:

• I asked for people to put their X handle in the comments. Totally unnecessary and added more work than needed for everyone to comment. Next time, I’ll probably do favorite movie or something.

• My copy for the social post wasn’t amazing. I literally spent about 30 seconds on it. Next time, I’ll spend more time on the hook.

• Do more market research for a product that people are asking for. On the next giveaway, I will be focusing on personal branding. So, I will try to do at least 10 calls with people that are struggling with this to answer their specific questions. NOTE: if you are struggling with personal branding, let me know, and we’ll hop on a call!
