I love y'all

I saw this tweet from DK this morning…

If you don't have anyone to talk about your interests and passions with, start writing on the internet and you'll find them.

Dan Koe

And I got overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude to everyone that I’ve met in the past year and a half of writing online.

I’ve never really felt a sense of belonging quite like I do right now.

There is such a density of like-minded people that I interact with every day, that it blows my mind.

I used to struggle with feeling like the odd man out in most situations:

  • Being the only guy at work not super into sports

  • The only guy at the gym that is really into writing

  • The only person in the band that cared about not looking like a homeless person, etc.

But when I started writing about stuff I actually found interesting and putting it out there, I found a group of people that were interested in the same things and had similar ambitions.

Super smart, driven, and principled people.

A tribe that is on their own wavelength.

That’s y’all.

So, to everyone on this list… thank you for being here.

I appreciate you.

Talk soon,

Swanagan
