I heard you loud and clear

(you still didn't have to yell though)

Alright, y’all.

You spoke and I listened.

I got 3 votes on my last poll and they were all for the content type “Building an online business and escaping the 9-5.”

Heard.

Going forward, I’m still going to write about the other stuff, but I’ll focus more on what I am doing to get out of the squalid, 9-5 rat race and join the internet money-making greyhounds.

And the way I’m currently going about it is 2-fold: continue building and monetizing my personal brand and building out the B2B marketing agency I started a few weeks ago.

Personal brand (Optimal) strategy

  • Step 1: Continue writing daily emails. Will write and engage every day on social media and then drive traffic towards this list. For monetization, as I address problems in my life and solve them, I will create products and offer them through this email list. The other revenue stream will be affiliate offers from creators and products I believe in.

  • Step 2: Build out my first course (Inbox Empire). This will be for sale immediately. Will probably do a 50% for the first week as I promote it, then full price forever.

  • Step 3: This course will be available along with 5-6 others I’m ideating in my paid community (Optimalist Ascent). I won’t sell these outside of the community.

  • Step 4: Take it to the next level → IRL events, software products, etc.

Marketing agency strategy

  • Step 1: Knock it out of the park for my first client.

  • Step 2: Do outreach. My goal is to get at least 1 sales call in per day with a warm lead. The primary channels will be LinkedIn and email marketing.

  • Step 3: Scale till I can’t handle the workload myself, and start hiring.

And at the core of it all, will be leveling up my writing ability.

Any money I make will always be funneled back into education.

I’m talking about:

  • Books

  • Courses

  • Coaching

  • IRL events

  • Paid communities/masterminds

This is the only way to do business on easy mode.

It’s not cheap, but if you can learn and apply lessons from people who are at the pinnacle, it’ll save time and stress.

I estimate I’ve spent over $12k on education since I started this journey. Every bit has been worth it.

So, to wrap up, I’m going to be taking you along for the ride.

These emails will starting looking BTS at each step in the process.

Can’t wait.

Let’s go!
