How to find your purpose

It's short

Most of the people I have met online want to build their own business.

This is the same reason that I started writing on Twitter/X too.

Along the way, I started seeing patterns in the journey.

A progression.

The longer I’m in this entrepreneurial journey, the clearer the building blocks become.

Here’s how I’m piecing it together:

To build a business you need to sell.

To sell, you need to market.

To market, you need to understand other people.

To understand other people, you need to understand yourself.

To understand yourself, you need to answer, “What is my purpose, and why am I here?”

To answer this question, you need to write.

And you need to write every day.

When you click on a video, ask yourself why you clicked. What attracted you to that headline?

Write it down.

Someone says something that makes you mad. Or sad. Or maybe it makes you laugh.

Write it down.

You have a thought while driving. It is something that’s been circling your brain for a few months.

Write it down.

Then, at the end of every week, go back over what you wrote. See if any of it ties together. Extrapolate on what you meant. Take a deep dive.

Eventually, you will start seeing patterns. Belief statements. Values.

Try to prove them wrong. Tease them out. Make them more real.

WRITE.

All of these patterns, beliefs, and values are your principles. Your way of being. The code by which you live your life.

And the more you write about them, the deeper you will understand yourself.

Then, you can start to see your purpose become clear.

And you’ll realize that it is to become the best version of yourself in every single moment.

This is the beginning.

Optimal.
