You have 2 options

The stakes have never been higher

I listened to the Tim Ferriss Show podcast this morning on the way to work.

It was a recent episode with Noah Kagan.

Noah is super charismatic and he was talking about his company App Sumo.

While he was talking I caught myself thinking: “Wow, that sounds like a cool company to work for.”

Wrong line of thinking, buddy.

At least for me.

My goals align with BEING Noah Kagan, not WORKING FOR Noah Kagan.

This distinction is extremely important. The self-talk you engage in determines your reality. Your life is what you make it.

Visualizing yourself as a higher-worth individual will change your life.

You may think that being tough on yourself will push you further. It is a motivation, that’s true.

But, you will go WAY further by believing that you have the potential to do great things. And not beating yourself up anytime something doesn’t go exactly to plan.

Essentially you have 2 options:

  1. Hear about a cool business on a podcast and think “I could work for a business like that”

  2. Hear about a cool business on a podcast and think “I could start a business like that”

Which are you choosing?
